* 10 Years Ago: I had a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and was working 70 hrs a ppd for the University of Utah. I lived in Fruit Heights in a rented Townhome. My sister was 5 min away and my parent 2 min. We traded Sundays with my parents they would come to my house and the next week we would go to their's. Yes, 10 yrs ago I had parents.

* On My To-Do List: today? Psht. TOO much! I have 8+ hrs to work, a prescription to drop off, kids to pick up from Jr High, Elementary and Shakepeare; dinner to make and checks to deposit. Hey, I've already been to SL for a Dr appt and to my office to get work, dropped off Anthony's folder he forgot this morning and dropped work off at my co-workers! ugh. Oh yeah - he he and I wasted time asnwering StarGate Trivia! woot!

* 5 places that I've lived: Alpine, Nephi, Salt Lake (downtown), Fruit Heights, Layton

* 5 jobs I have had: mm I'm pretty loyal don't think I've had 5 (he he). Pheasant keeper, secretary, AP cleark, Asst CFO, and Financial Counselor. Wow - and all between only my parents and 2 companies !

* What I would do if I became a billionaire: pay my tithing, give a big chunk to fast offering, donate to my kids schools, pay off my bills and my house, get a slightly bigger home, and up accts for my kids and for vacations.

* Bad habits: yelling, playing puzzle pirates, not spending enough time with my kids.

* Things I enjoy: reading a good book, good music, cuddling with me hubby, a good movie, family vacations and playing puzzle pirates

As I sit here watching Outer Limits I can't help but think that sometimes, depending on your frame of mind, our life is just like that show. Things happen and you don't know why, life goes on and we don't always remember why or what. And it's going by way too fast these days. 24 hours seems more like 12 to actually get things done and still find time to sleep.

8:07 pm - We just found out that President Hinckley has passed away. At 97 yrs of age, we are saddened at his passing but grateful that he is now again with his beloved Marjorie. This is the first time the kids have been through the death of a prophet, that they remember, so it is a little shocking for them. Dean and I both remember when President Kimball died, I was 16 and it was a shock to me. Thankfully though, the church is not based on the prophets but on the gospel of Jesus Christ and we know that the new prophet will be called of God and that his church will go forward in faith.
