One of my girlfriends is doing her 30 days about her on her blog which I think is pretty cool. You have way more space to actually define or describe what you mean and you don't always have to have a picture. However, she is going backwards to my forwards >] and today was about Pet Peeves. Number 5 on her pet peeves list is emotional phishing, like with facebook, etc. So I looked up the definition.... I'm still not positive as to what she meant but I'll give it go. Phishing is a new slang word used for those that attempting identity theft via email, internet...get the idea? They make it look real so that you will spend your hard earned cash or give them information that will allow them to steal not just your cash but pretty much ruin your life. How this relates to facebook? Hmm...the only thing I can think of is that fb is a social website; therefore, I see people all the time trying to sound like someone they are not. Some people also use fb to air all their dirty laundry for the world to smell and see...ewwwwwww...perhaps this is her phishing emotionally.
I prefer to emotionally air my dirty laundry this year on here - lol. I am trying very hard to put positive things on my facebook. Some may take a factual comment made there as negative, yet I cannot control that. Who annoys me? What did YOU do you may ask? You personally? Nothing. The person that currently is annoying me does not have access to my blog and therefore does not know this, nor do I assume that they care - which is partially why they annoy me. Got it? Yeah, sure. In this case I am talking about people who criticize others for thing they do themselves. A very good friend of mine used to get so upset when I'd mention things another friend was saying, or the way they were acting towards me. Almost a year later, the situation is now between the first friend and I (I don't speak to the later anymore), and the behaviour is almost identicial to the previous friend they griped about and wanted to beat up. *sigh...whatever. I believe I am more frustrated with myself than I am this other person. I don't understand why I allow people to touch me (emotionally or spiritually) over and over again, just to be given the chance to step away from me or on me later. Why? Because I think I hope each time that one of these times I myself will wake up and not let it bother me so much. That I will understand and not be so possessive but be more willing to let people wander and just be content to hang out with myself. 0.o Erm...sure, sounds like a great goal =P.

Resolutions
A resolution simply just means I resolve myself to do something right? Psh, I do that all that time, I resolve to get something accomplished everyday, some days I win, other days I don't. I'm also going to stick to the policy of one day at a time; therefore, resolving myself to do anything for any amount of time longer than that period is not in my vocabulary.
The week is finally over and the new one beginning - thank goodness. End of term for school (stress), returned mail at the office (stress), having a sinus infection with bronchitis (stress)....sigh. I resolve myself to return to my president of the mean mother club status each new term as I oversee my son's report cards of the previous term. If I had brought home their grades I would not be alive to write this...*sigh. Anthony will graduate next year and I still have yet to figure out how to impress the importance of school and grades in his head. Each term they promise to do better and for half a term they do..than something slips or idk honesty, but they digress and never make it to climb back up. We are a household that does not even do allowance; therefore, monetary rewards for grades is not a possibility. I did not receive money for grades growing up either, but I also had the fear of my parents if I brought even a B- home. I do not want my kids to have that "fear" of me, but I would like a little respect for themselves if not me when it comes to their grades. At work we have installed a new financial system for the Hospital/Clinic and Professional sides, to replace the two systems that they used seperately. I am still receiving returned mail on the old systems that I have to work; yet I have new workqueues in the new system as well. To replace my two monthly reports of bad addresses, I now have a daily workqueue. Welllllllllllll, my reports total are about maybe 700 accts total for the MONTH....my WQ hit 1400 something FRIDAY...ugh. Oh sorry, Happy Happy Joy Joy - "are they gone yet? are they gone yet? oh good I stop smiling. Man, are my cheeks sore!" (Barbie from ToyStory 2 for those of you who are not so Disney Fanatical). If the Bad Address WQ were all I had to work, I would not be stressed, but than I have the Hospital Lien WQ to which I share with a co-worker and yeah, it busted out at 900+ Friday. 0_0 Really?!?!? Come- on! I sent my boss an email on Friday, (that's my version of a sick call - a sick email) and told him about how my sinus infection was now a sinus migraine, sorry about my WQ lists but I was taking a sick day. I could go on and on and on about the added Osteo-arthritis that the weather has kicked into overdrive, the wheezing lungs from the smog, but......I won't - aren't you happy? :D
Yesterday was lazy and icky being sick but it ended I suppose on a positive note. My online friend that I hadn't talked to since early December...we kind of chatted. Didn't last long, but atleast it was positive. I realize the same as I did earlier last year, I'm the one with the hang up's and he's totally oblivious for which I am grateful. I just need to learn to forgive myself and let go easier. Not letting go of people, of my mistakes - I think it'll take long past the grave for me to be able to do that...just saying. One of my girlfriends that has come back into my life brought over the yummiest treat for us the other night - she knew I was stressed. Ginger cookies with pumpkin ice cream filling with a drizzle of caramel - mmmmmmmm, they were scrumptious. My girlfried across the street surprised me yesterday with a book that I couldn't find at the library, from the set she'd gotten me addicted to. Lol, the stinker went to the used book store to find it for me! I love these ladies.
It is coming to close on Sunday now, I stayed home from church to relax- see if I can get feeling any better before I have to be in SL all day Tuesday while the kids are off. I read the book Pat brought me over, I am half way through it- wahoo! >] I caught up on Becky's blog (sorry Beck- I just have a hard time calling you Rebecca) and than her daughter Shannyn's. These women make me laugh. It was so fun to read their blogs and since Beck can read this and Shannyn can't, I will say that Shannyn reminds me of a mix of Beck and Debbie from HS. No wonder I love her! :)

Recaptures for 2011

Instead of making resolutions that I know I'll break, I've decided to revert - sorta. I've decided that it would be nice to see if I still enjoy some of the things I used to .... like cooking/baking. When Olivia was born I was a Food Network WORM...seriously, when she was two she could name you all the chef's on the televison (Emeril, Rachel, Tyler..). Back than I sold Pampered Chef and was constantly looking for cooking tips to share, a bit of food knowledge to throw out, and any presentation idea's I could. However, I started Pampered Chef because I wanted the cookware and stoneware! My business lasted about 4 1/2 yrs and than I started my mental/hormonal mess. It's nice to start thinking about cooking and the thought of EXPERIMENTING! ha ha.
If you noticed, I have tabs now at the top of my blog. (Yay Em for teaching me how!) There will soon be one up that is "Grisseh's Goodies". Recipes from me! The recipes of the stuff that worked and actually tasted good! ha ha ha. I have a friend that is one of the main chef's in a Harmon's Deli. He keeps bringing cheese balls and I keep devouring them. >.> So, now I'm excited to start making cheese balls! He told the main ingredients - and than I'm off!!! Any volunteer food tasters out there? :D
One of the other things that has gotten me back into the cooking/baking bug is the book series I'm reading. The author is Diane Mott Davidson. They are a very fun read, they are whodunit's discovered by a caterer! Yes, she even INCLUDES the recipes in each book! How fun is that?!?! I haven't tried any yet but some sound really, really yummy and I'm very tempted. However, she uses a lot of unsalted butter, which I use non of, so I guess that would have to be first on my grocery list.
If I'm going to do own goody recipe's, I'm gonna have to start naming them. Ugh. So, the taste test volunteers also get to volunteer for name submissions :D. The first winner doesn't even know she submitted - lol. My niece Heather has been asking me for my pie recipe for heavens, maybe 5 yrs? It was something I threw together and hoped it was edible and good for Thanksgiving. Well, according to one brother's children it was the RAGE and a must have recipe. I finally wrote it down for Heather, I hope I write it down the same here on the blog - baha ha - that would be so like me >P. (Yes, I'm a dash of this, throw that in cook.) I digress....the recipe name is: "Auntie's Famous Peanut Butter Pie". Enjoy! Paix.
