Article 10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive it's paradisiacal glory.
Wow, been a long time since I've read that one. It's something that as members of the church we just know, but put out there in one paragraph is really powerful and hopeful. Nice.
Article 11 We claim the priviledge of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same priveledge, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
Ahhh, lol a light bulb moment for my non-LDS friends and the reason I get so upset when others treat them unfairly or a prejudice because of their belief or unbelief. We are all children of God and deserve to be treated as such whether we believe that we are or not.
Article 12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
:] Another light bulb, as we've seen the repercussions of those that belong to the FLDS faith in not honoring and obeying the law of the land. Through God there is intelligence and wisdom, things are placed and withheld for reasons, not for us to question.
